<p>PURPOSE:To set a sheet separation position accurately and prevent a separator and a rotary drum from being damaged, by installing a guide roll which is made bumpingly contact with a rotary drum surface at the time of sheet separation and secures a gap between them. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary separating member 31 is set up in a stand-by position, such a situation that the end of a blade member 33 comes into contact with the surface of a platen roll 2 and a recording sheet 4 is not entailed there, thus recording operation is carried out in a stable manner. If a holding state of the recording sheet is released, a magnetic actuator 37 is set to a nonoperational state, setting the rotary separating part 31 after moving it to a sheet separating position. At this time, a guide roll 39 is forcibly pressed to the surface of the platen roll 2 by dint of energizing force of an energizing spring 38, and in order to secure a gap delta between the end of the blade member 33 and the surface of the platen roll 2, a relative positional relationship between the rotary separating member 31 and the platen roll 2 is kept constant.</p> |
