<p>PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in operation efficiency, by installing a seat holding member, fitting and holding a seat with a holding surface in seat formed type form, in a seat holding device to be attached to a robot arm, in case of an automobile assembly line. CONSTITUTION:A seat back body 1..2 and a triparted-type seat 11 consisting of symmetrical side members 16 are all positioned and set onto a preset jig 31, while a pallet is moved up to a receiving position of a robot arm 22, and the formed type seat holding member 41 attached to this robot arm 22 is pressed to a rear seat back 11 from the upside, then the whole body of this rear seat back 11 is fitted and holded in a formed type 42. Next, the pallet is retracted, the robot arm 22 is inserted into a rear door opening part 2 of an automobile 1, and the rear seat back 11 is attached to a car body by a bolt clamping device 25. Thus, operation efficiency is improved without requiring a complex holding mechanism.</p> |
