PURPOSE:To attain a real time processing, namely to obtain variable power picture data synchronously with the reading of an original picture by sampling one adjacent to original picture data according to a designated variable power ratio for % unit at a prescribed pitch synchronously with a data clock, and operating and outputting the variable power picture data synchronously with the data clock. CONSTITUTION:The original picture data is sampled at the pitch corresponding to the designated magnification R by a sampling operation, when Bi of a register = H(Ri<=0.5), a data selector 28 outputs the sampled original picture data Sij as Oik, and when Bi=L(Ri>0.5), the data selector 28 outputs Sij+1 of the sampled original picture data as Oik. Accordingly, the equipment of a post-stage receiving the variable power picture data can process the variable power picture data in a raster scanning form and uses an electrical variable power by employing it for a picture processing equipment such as a digital copying device or a facsimile for performing a picture recording or a picture data transfer or transmission in parallel to a picture reading. |
