PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum driving condition for a driver and improved fuel consumption by providing a device which enables speed deviation allowance in a constant-speed driving control device to be externally set by the driver. CONSTITUTION:A throttle control device 6 compares respective signals from a sensor 4 for detecting rotational speed of an output shaft 3 of a transmission 2 connected in series to an engine 1 and a reference signal generator 5, and outputs a signal for opening and closing a throttle valve 8 to a throttle valve driving device 7. A transmission control device 10 compares respective signals from the above sensor 4 and a sensor 9 for detecting the opening degree of the throttle valve 8 so as to control the change gear ratio of the transmission 2. In the apparatus thus constructed, there is also provided a device 11 which enables speed deviation allowance to be externally set by a driver. The throttle control device 6 drives the throttle valve driving device 7 in response to deviation of the signal of the sensor 4 from a central value that is the set speed deviation allowance. |
