PURPOSE:To facilitate replacing an electroluminescence (EL) plate by detachably connecting lead terminals of the EL plate to electric connection parts. CONSTITUTION:Two recessed parts 11 and 11 are provided in the center of one end of a printed circuit board 10, and connection conductor parts 12 and 12 to be electrically connected to lead terminals 41 and 41 of an EL plate 40 are provided of surfaces of recessed parts 11 and 11. These conductor part 12 and 12 are electrically disconnected from a liquid crystal driving circuit. A liquid crystal cell 20 is held on a frame body fixed to the circuit 10. An insertion hole 31 is provided on the lower face of the frame body 30, and the EL plate 40 is inserted to this insertion hole 31 so that the plate 40 can be freely taken into and out of the hole 31. A pressing member 50 pressed terminals 41 and 41 of the EL plate 40 to conductor parts 12 and 12 to connect than. When the EL plate 40 is replaced, the EL late 40 is led out from the insertion hole 31 of the frame body 30, and another EL plate 40 is inserted to the insertion hole 31.
