PURPOSE:To get rid of any hindrance such as a paper jam or the like as well as to aim at the promotion of labor-saving in a way of reducing the number of parts items, by installing a rockable sheet turning member and a sensor both in a feed passage for a cut sheet or the like, and varying and diverging a course of the sheet being conveyed, in a multidirectional manner. CONSTITUTION:In case of a device which guides a sheet out of an A direction from a first sheet feed guide 22A to a B direction by a feed roller 20, the first sensor 21 installed in the feed guide 22A detects the tip of an incoming sheet, a sheet turning member 25 is rocked. A bending part 29a pushes up a rocking guide 24, connecting a third sheet feed guide 29 to the guide member 22A, and the sheet is conveyed in a C direction by a sheet feed roller 26. And, when a second sensor 30 detects the tip of the sheet, the turning member 25 is rocked at an optional angle by the signal, and with drive of the roller 26, the sheet is turned and diverged in a D direction or multidirections, thereby getting rid of any damage to the sheet.
