PURPOSE:To enable the formation of the color picture of a good color reproducibility with a small sized apparatus, by using the thermal transfer sheet for forming the color picture having respective carrying layers containing specific dyes of cyan, magenta, and yellow. CONSTITUTION:C.I. solvent blue 63 is adopted as a cyan dye. Further, as a magenta dye, C.I. disperse red 60 and C.I. disperse red 26 are made the mixture of which the mixing ratio is preferably a range of 0.3-1.0pt.wt. the latter per 1pt.wt. of the former. Furthermore, the dye represented by formula (I) is used as a yellow dye. Thereby, wide-ranging color tone corresponding to respective colors of an offset printing ink can be reproduced. For a thermal transfer sheet, the dyes of three colors of specific combination such as above-mentioned are used and it may be allowed that the construction other than those is the same one as the construction of commonly known thermal transfer sheet. |
