PURPOSE:To achieve the miniaturization and the simplification of a thermal transfer press, by a method wherein a transfer material and a foil sheet are fixedly placed on the flat pressure receiving plane of a pressure receiving table and a heating transfer material is kept and thermally pressed thereonto. CONSTITUTION:A transfer material 3 and a foil sheet 5 are fixedly placed on the pressure receiving plane 2 of a pressure receiving stand 1 so that the surface of a toner image 4 and the surface of a foil layer 7 are piled with each other. By holding the holder 11 of a heating transfer material 8, for instance in a state where a body 10 is heated at approx. 180 deg.C, the body 10 is pressed onto a foil sheet 5 and made to slide while thermally pressing the pressure receiving plane 2. Then, the heat of the heating transfer material 8 is transmitted to the toner image 4. The resin component contained in the toner is fused and the foil layer 7 adheres to the toner image 4. Thereafter, if the foil sheet is peeled off from the transfer material 3, the stenciled foil layer 7A of ABC is formed on the foil sheet 5 and the surface of the toner image 4 is colored in the color of the foil, for instance, required colors such as red, blue, yellow, etc. |
