摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an anodic electrode high in durability by constituting the anodic electrode of a composite electrode wherein a valve metal plate is made to an electrode base plate and a coating layer contg. platinum group metal and platinum group metallic oxide is coated and formed on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:An electrode segment 1a which is fitted on the circumferential surface of a rotary drum 1 in the anodic side of an electroosmosis type dehydrator and used is made to a composite electrode structure wherein a TANZAKU (a strip of fancy paper)-shaped plate made of a valve metal material such as titanic steel is bent in a circular arc shape and processed in coincidence with the circumference surface of the rotary drum 1 and this valve metal plate is made to an electrode base material 1c and a coating layer 1d contg. at least one kind of platinum group metal or platinum group metallic oxide is coated on the surface thereof. As a result, an anodic electrode high in electrochemical and mechanical durability required as electrode characteristics of the electroosmosis type dehydrator can be economically obtained by holding a structure, strength and electrical conductive function necessitated as the electrode material in the electrode base material 1c of the valve metal plate, and furthermore holding an electrode interface in the coated layer contg. platinum group metal or the like.
