PURPOSE:To improve the aging stability of a coating liq. when a silver chloride color photographic material contg. silver halide particles having >=80mol% silver chloride content is produced, by forming a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified compound and a specified solvent for a coupler. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide emulsion layer contg. at least one kind of com pound represented by formula I and a solvent for a coupler represented by formula II is formed. In the formula I, A is a bivalent aromatic residue and each of R1-R4 is H, hydroxy, lower alkyl or the like. In the formula II, each of R5-R7 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or aryl. The compound represented by the formula I may be disodium 4,4'-bis[4,6-di(benzothiazolyl-2-thio)pyrimidin-2- ylamino]-stilbene-2,2'-disulfonate. A concrete example of the compound represented by the formula II is represented by formula II-1. |
