<p>In order to turn a four-wheeled motor vehicle on the spot, the vehicle is provided with a lifting device equipped with a mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electric drive. The supporting force of the lifting device is offset in relation to the centre of gravity of the motor vehicle in such a way that during operation of the device, which is supported on the road surface, two of the vehicles' wheels are raised from said surface. The lifting device is firmly fixed to the lower supporting floor or frame of the motor vehicle, the relevant support force being offset in relation to the centre of gravity in such a way that, when the lifting device is operated, the remaining two wheels are partly relieved of load and that at least one of the partly load-relieved wheels is a driven wheel.</p> |
