PURPOSE:To clad a noble metal dispersed therein with ceramics selectively and uniformly to a copper member by supplying a thin noble metallic sheet stuck with the ceramics to a part for cladding the noble metal to the copper member and pressing the same, the irradiating a laser beam thereto. CONSTITUTION:The thin noble metallic sheet 13 consisting of silver, etc., of a ribbon shape is supplied to the part to be clad with the noble metal of the base material 7 consisting of the copper member. The powder ceramics 15 such as Al2O3 is supplied onto such sheet 13 from a ceramic powder supplying device 14 and is stuck or imposed thereto to 0.5-10mum thickness. While a press roll 15 is pressurized from above the ceramics 15, the roll is rotated in an arrow direction. A ceramics sticking layer 13a is thereby formed and at the same time the sheet 13 is pressed to the base material 7 to preferably penetrate the ceramics 15 into the sheet 13. The laser beam 1a such as CO2 laser is irradiated in this state. The ceramics 15 absorbs the laser beam 1a well in a part 17 irradiated with the laser beam and the temp. of the material 7 rises in said part. The noble metallic film 9 dispersed therein with the ceramics 15 is thus formed on the base material 7 with good adhesiveness. |
