PURPOSE:To improve the capacity of the title device and to prevent the salt damage of a conveying and charging means by providing the conveying and charging means for dispersedly charging the cast work which has been cast in a casting device and treated in a heating furnace into a salt furnace and a means for dipping a cast work container in the salt furnace. CONSTITUTION:The cast work which has been cast in a metallic mold casting device 1 is conveyed into the soaking furnace 3 by a conveyor robot 2, chilled, and austenitized. The cast works are successively charged by a distributor robot 4 into a storage case 15 hung by the arm on the lifting cylinder 17 of a rotary conveyor robot 6 at the upper part of the salt furnace 5, and flatly dispersed. When the cast works are loaded in one layer, the case 15 is lowered, and the cast works are charged to a specified position without dipping the hand part of the robot 4 into the salt furnace 5. Accordingly, the hardening performance can be improved without enlarging the salt furnace 5, and the slat damage of the hand part of the robot 4 can be prevented. After the distribution and charge of the works are finished, the case 15 is lowered and dipped in the bottom part of the salt furnace 5.
