摘要 PURPOSE:To improve fuel consumption at the time of high load and to protect an exhaust system by limiting concentration of air-fuel ratio at the time of high load by an air-fuel ratio control means by means of an air-fuel ratio correcting means when automobile speed is over a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 15 is provided with a means for setting an air-fuel ratio which becomes the base, that is a basic injection fuel pulse of a fuel injection valve by the output of an air flow meter 6 and a throttle opening sensor 14. And a means for correcting the air-fuel ratio, which becomes the base by the output of an automobile speed sensor 13, an engine speed sensor 16 and a variable speed position sensor, is provided. And when the automobile speed is over a predetermined value, concentration of the air-fuel ratio at the time of high load by the air-fuel ratio control means is limited by the air-fuel ratio correcting means. That is, when the automobile speed is over the predetermined value, wind traveling can be utilized for cooling an exhaust system, and concentration of the air-fuel ratio can be limited even at the time of high load.
