For many applications, known planetary gear trains have too great a play on the tooth flanks, especially when used as positioning drives for robots. The present invention addresses the problem of developing a planetary gear train in which the play on the tooth flanks is negligible. This is achieved by the fact that both the ring gear (12, 13) or the sun gear (37, 37') and the planetary gears (14, 15) are separated radially into two partial gears so that, as appropriate, one ring partial gear or one sun partial gear meshes with the corresponding planetary partial gears, and by the fact that before positioning of the ring partial gears or sun partial gears on the gear housing (10) the partial gears of one group (12, 14) are turned to the left and those of the other group (13, 15) are turned to the right until the tooth flanks of the ring partial gears or sun partial gears are applied against those of the planetary partial gears and the tooth flanks of the planetary partial gears are applied against those of the sun gear (17) or of the ring gear (33).
|
