The large-volume silo for farinaceous bulk materials has a conical hood which is arranged above the silo floor and at the lower edge of which draw-off orifices having separately controllable shut-off slides are provided. Ventilation channels leading to the draw-off orifices 4 are located on the annular silo floor. Provided above the draw-off orifices are roof-shaped covers 7, on which ventilation channels 8 are likewise arranged. The roof-shaped covers divide the flow of bulk material, so that a corresponding number of streams having a positive influence on the mixing effect are formed. The number of the draw-off orifices and of the devices cooperating with them, such as shut-off slide and air-conveying channels, can consequently be reduced, without the mixing being impaired. <IMAGE>
