PURPOSE:To apply bending processing to a tube member easily and safely, by making use of a tube member bending jig whose inside of an outer tube, the diameter of which has been made into about the same size as the inside diameter of the tube member, is pierced through by a filling member. CONSTITUTION:A bending jig 1 is constituted of a hollow outer tube 3 and a plurality of cylindrical filling members 4 which are inserted into a hollow part. The outer tube 3 is softer than a tube member 2 in its structure. The filling member 4 is constituted of an elastic member and in bendable constitution. Both end parts of the outer tube 3 are blockaded. The jig 1 is inserted into a part of the tube member 2 to which bending processing is applied. In the case where a bending angle in a vertical direction is desired to get, the tube member 2 is bent up to the extent of about 300 deg. along with the jig 1. Then the tube is returned to the extent of 60 deg.. The jig 1 is pulled out under this state. The tube 2 is apt to restore to a form of 300 deg.. The same, however, stops at an angle of about 1270 deg. without restoring completely. With this construction, bending processing in the vertical direction is obtained. |
