PURPOSE:To obtain a tough high-transmission and high-dispersion sheet, by orienting biaxially a sheet obtained by compounding a specific polymer with methacrylate resin. CONSTITUTION:This methacrylate resin sheet is composed mainly of a polymer B having methacrylate resin A and styrene. The polymer B is dispersed into a sheet, which falls within a range of 0.1-40wt% by (B/A+B)X100wt% and moreover 10-500 of the same per 1m<2> sheet exists. This sheet is oriented biaxially at average orientation release stress of 5kg/cm<2> or more. Shock resistance of the methacrylate resin sheet is improved through this biaxial orientation. As the biaxially oriented methacrylate resin sheet keeps property intrinsic to the same as it is, and moreover is made favorable in shock resistance, and turned favorable as a high-transmission and high-dispersion sheet. |
