PURPOSE:To form an easy-to-use electrophotographic printer by loading recording paper in a stood state from behind a main body and sending it out the main body from the frond while letting the imaging surface face the main body side after imaging and fixation. CONSTITUTION:The recording paper 27 is fed from the back of the main body 1 and fed from the front of the main body 1 after the imaging operation, so the substantial installation area is reducible and area for making a memorandum is obtained in front of the main body on a desk. The recording paper is sent out with the imaging surface down, so it need not be rearranged in printing order unlike before. A recording paper holder 26 is enabled to rotate on a hinge 25, so when recording paper 27 is supplied, the recording paper holder 26 is slanted properly and the recording paper 27 can be supplied from above, thereby eliminating the need for the occupation space for the replacement of the recording paper 27 and cassette replacement.
