PURPOSE:To securely remove stains from the reverse surface of a writing medium without adding any cleaning member newly by arranging a support means so that the writing medium moves in the vicinity of an erasing means. CONSTITUTION:The support member 30 made of a ferromagnetic material is fixed at the position on a sleeve 28 closest to a roller 3 and stylus recording electrodes 31 made of circular magnetic bodies are arrayed closely over the surface of the sleeve 28 from on the support member 30 in the axial direction of the sleeve 28. The erasing means 9 is equipped with an erasing sleeve 32 made of a nonmagnetic material and the sleeve 32 is rotatable as shown by an arrow D. Consequently, toner sticking on a recording medium 1 and toner on the reverse surface of the writing medium 8 are removed by the erasure sleeve 32.
