Exchangeable valve seat rings in shut-off and regulating valves are exposed to greater wear and must therefore be replaced more often. It is in this case important that the seal between the valve seat rings and the valve housing remains guaranteed permanently without additional seals. The valve seat rings must, however, also be easily detachable. Using a fastening by differential thread and a conical sealing surface, the sealing takes place without destroying the sealing surfaces by plastic deformation with the highest possible sealing action. If given inclination angles of the sealing surfaces are observed, easy mounting conditions result. By coatings on a sealing surface, the conditions can be further improved. If the differential thread ring necessary for bracing is, as a throttle bush, provided with throttle bores or throttle grooves, the arrangement becomes especially cheap and easily accessible.
