An apparatus on chain-operated conveying devices having impellers which carry and move the material to be conveyed, which are fastened to chain links and which are supported with their underside on slide rails, is to be used to provide a solution with which the lubricants are not only saved but become completely dispensible, with which the carrying properties of the impellers are improved, and easy replaceability and ease of service at the same time being ensured. This is achieved in that a plastic slide piece (4) is arranged between the underside of the impellers (5) and the slide rails (3). <IMAGE>
