<p>A test tube rack (9), wherein a plurality of test tubes (8) are arranged in the form of matrix of m columns and n rows and inserted, is carried into the main body (10) of an apparatus by means of a mechanism for carrying in a rack (1). In the course of conveying by means of a mechanism for conveying a rack (2) said test tube rack (9) having been carried in, the test tubes (8) inserted into the test tube rack (9) are pulled out column by column by means of a mechanism for pulling out test tubes (4). Each test tube (8) pulled out column by column is conveyed separately in a predetermined order by means of a mechanism for circulation (5). As for each test tube (8) conveyed separately, a stopper (8a) is automatically pulled out of a test tube (8) by separating the both by means of a mechanism for pulling out a stopper (6) while the both are held separately thereby. The test tubes (8) which are continuously conveyed by means of the mechanism for circulation (5) after the stoppers have been pulled out are grouped into a group corresponding to a column formed before the stoppers are pulled out and inserted column by column by means of a mechanism for inserting test tubes (7) into an empty test tube rack (9') which is conveyed by means of said mechanism for conveying a rack (2). After predetermined columns of test tubes (8) are inserted into the empty test tube rack (9'), said test tube rack (9') is carried out of the main body (10) of the apparatus by means of a mechanism for carrying out a rack (3). In such a manner, a completely automated apparatus for pulling out a test tube stopper is provided.</p> |
