<p>A display rack consists of flat pane (2, 2') display frames (1, 1') to be interconnected by coupling members (6, 15, 16, 61-64, 72-74). The frames comprise corner pieces (5) and side frame members (3, 4) of extruded profiled tubes with two parallel tube portions (48, 49) and two longitudinal grooves (23, 30) in the plane of the display frame. The corner pieces have at least two pairs of parallel legs (39, 39'; 40, 40') to be inserted and adopted by said tube portions. Of the longitudinal grooves (23, 30) at least one externally located groove (23) of each display frame has an extrovert opening (22) narrower than the rest of the groove to prevent a spigot member (8, 161-164, 641-642, 741-744) introduced into the groove (23) from becoming taken out transversely. The corner pieces have cavities (45) in the extension of the recessed grooves (23) to permit the spigot members to be passed through the corner piece and into said recessed groove. Each coupling member has at least two spigots each of which is adapted for introduction through one of the cavities (45) of a corner piece and further into the corresponding recessed groove in a frame side (3, 4) for interconnecting two or more adjacent display frames at nearby corners.</p> |
