PRODUCTION OF VULCANIZATION ACCELERATOR FOR RUBBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a vulcanization accelerator for rubber in good yields without emitting gas during reaction, by heating a specified compound and sulfur in water containing a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:A vulcanization accelerator for rubber of formula II (wherein X is 4-6) is obtained by heating a compound of formula I (wherein R1-2 are each a 1-5C alkyl or may be combined together to form a 6C or lower alkylene) and sulfur to 80-100 deg.C in water containing 0.01-1wt%, based on said compound, surfactant (e.g., trioxyethylene alkylphenyl ether).
