PURPOSE:To obtain the title tape exhibiting a small elongation and applicable to a human body, by fixing a stretchable tape base material obtd. by sewing warps and wefts in such a state that the base material is stretched to a predeter mined extent and disposing a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a surface of the base material. CONSTITUTION:A mono- or multi-filament of 20-250 denier comprised of a synthetic rubber or resin and exhibiting an elongation of 50-800% and pref. a color different from that of other portions is used as a core, and if necessary, a natural and/or chemical fiber yarn of 100-500 denier exhibiting an elongation of 50% or less is wound around the core, thereby obtaining a stretchable material. A stretchable tape base material is sewn using the above stretchable material as a warp in a count of 15-50 threads/inch and using a natural and/or chemical fiber yarn of 100-500 denier as a weft in a count of 20-100 threads/ inch. This base material is fixed in such a state that the material is stretched to at least 3%, pref. 5-80% of the max. elongation thereof, and a pressure- sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on one surface of the base material. |
