PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of wrinkles on a flange part formed along the periphery of a work by abutting plural cams on the peripheral vicinity of a corner part in different directions and adjusting closing positions of the cams. CONSTITUTION:An upper die 15 and a driver cam 16 are moved down and a slide cam 13 is moved forward with a work 1 fixed at a prescribed position. For forming of a narrow flange part 1b'', plural flange cams 14 and 14 are abutted on a periphery 1' of the work 1 and are moved forward so as to locate the closing point at the forward position of the respective cams 14 and 14 on the narrow flange part 1b''. In that method, flanges having no wrinkle are formed.
