FILTER FOR DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve how a display is viewed on a display device by finding the visibility of the display on the display device according to vision environment where the display device is used and determining the value of a filter for the display device so that the visibility is larger than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The light emission part brightness of the display device, the background part brightness of the display device, and the brightness coefficient of the display screen of the display device are measured firstly as characteristics of the display device itself. Further, light curtain brightness equivalent to a scattered light curtain formed in the globe of the eye of an observer and the illuminance on the display screen of the display device are measured in the environment where the display device is placed. The transmissivity value of the filter for the display device is so determined based on those measured value as to obtain visibility larger than a specific necessary value so that the display is viewed without any error. Thus, how the display of the display device is seen is improved.
