PURPOSE:To permit exact with a simple operation by controlling the movements of respective drawing rolls so as to follow the movement of a master drawing roll by the position signals for the respective drawing rolls and the position signal for the master drawing roll based on the position signal for the master drawing roll. CONSTITUTION:A work W is mounted to a revolving main spindle 2 and is moved in the axial center direction of the main spindle by a carriage 3. The drawing rolls 4, 5, 6, therefore, move forward and backward respectively in X1, X2, X3 directions toward the axial center direction of the main spindle. The reference position signal of the master drawing roll 4 corresponding to the position thereof from a position detector 15 and the position signals provided to the drawing rolls 5, 6 are compared and the drawing rolls 5, 6 are moved forward and backward in the directions X2, X3. The relative positional relations of the respective drawing rolls are thereby set and the working accuracy is improved.
