PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material good in image sharpness and superior in stability against development processing by specifying the dry film thickness of the emulsion layers of the photosensitive material having at least red-sensitive and green-sensitive layers on a support, and the content of a colored coupler of the total couplers in the red-sensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The total dry film thickness of the emulsion layers of the silver halide multilayer color photographic sensitive material having at least red- sensitive and green-sensitive layers on the support is controlled to <=18mum, and the content of the colored coupler is regulated to 15-80mol% of the total cyan couplers in the red-sensitive layer. It is preferred to control the thickness of the emulsion layers from the upper face of the uppermost emulsion layer down to the lower face of the emulsion layer nearest to the support and to the upper face of the lowest emulsion layer to <=14mum and <=10mum, respectively. As the coupler high in color sensitivity, 2 equivalent couplers are preferably. The red-sensitive layer may be single or multilayers, and in the latter case, the colored cyan coupler is contained, preferably, in an amount of 15-80mol% of the total cyan couplers of the layer highest in sensitivity.
