PURPOSE:To accurately calculate an error rate, by providing a timer interruption processing step that issues an instruction to store the number of errors, and an error rate arithmetic step, and storing the number of counted errors at a storage means at the same time when a timer count flag by a timer interruption is set. CONSTITUTION:A timer interruption processing step 10 outputs a storing instruction 8 to an error number count measuring step 6 at the same time when a timer count flag is set at 1. Therefore, the error number count measuring step 6 stores the number of errors at a count error number storing means. And when the turn of the process of an error rate arithmetic step 11 comes, a check instruction 7 to check the timer count flag processed at the timer interruption processing step 10 is outputted. Then, the error rate is calculated by the error rate arithmetic step 11. Thus, so that the storage of the number of errors is performed by the instruction from the timer interruption processing step 10, it is maintained at a constant level regardless of other processing steps.
