PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which gives a printer housing which has excellent mechanical strength and surface appearance and allows to noise of printers to be reduced, by blending a thermoplastic resin with a filler. CONSTITUTION:95-5wt% thermoplastic resin (A) (e.g., PE) is blended with 5-95wt% inorg. filler (e.g., CaCO3) and/or org. filler (e.g., charcoal having a particle size of not larger than 60 mesh) (B) and optionally an antioxidant, an antistatic agent, a flame retarder, a lubricant, etc., (C). The mixture is kneaded at 170-300 deg.C for 5-20min and pelletized to obtain the titled compsn. The compsn. is molded into printer housings having various shapes at 170-300 deg.C.
