PURPOSE:To prevent the transferring clock of a CCD from becoming variable and to prevent the deterioration in a picture quality even when a magnification factor is changed by constituting a data selecting table of a data selecting signal writing circuit and a data selecting memory and using the data selecting signal of the above-mentioned memory as the referring signal of interpolating data stored in an interpolating memory. CONSTITUTION:Into an interpolating memory 13, interpolating data to interpolate plural pieces of image information are stored, and the above-mentioned interpolating data are selected by a data selecting table 300. The selecting table 300 is constituted of a data selecting signal writing circuit 310 and a data selecting memory 320, a data selecting signal obtained by the magnification factor beforehand is stored into the circuit 310, a part of a data selecting signal stored into the circuit 310 in accordance with the designated scale factor is stored into the memory 320 and the data selecting signal is used as the referring signal of the above- mentioned interpolating data. As the memory for the circuit 310, a ROM is used in which a program for control to control a system is stored. For such a reason, since the interpolating data are prepared from the original image data between two points, even at the time of enlargement and reduction, the quality of the recording image will not be deteriorated. It is not necessary to make variable the transferring clock of a CCD for enlargement and reduction. |
