PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a disturbance of a boiler due to change- over of a multi-fuel combustion ratio, by a method wherein fire extinguishment of a nozzle on the fuel side, in which a multi-fuel mixing combustion ratio is reduced, is firstly effected, and ignition of a nozzle on the fuel side, in which a multi-fuel mixing combustion ratio is increased, is secondly performed. CONSTITUTION:It is discriminated whether a control logic 9 of a burner controller 8 has a room to ignite burners 2 and 3 under operation by means of two different fuels of A and B. If it is discriminated that it has the room, said burner is ignited. In which case, the logic is set in the manner that, in relation to the burners for the one fuel, the burner under operation at the uppermost stage of the burners is extinguished, and in relation to the burner for the other fuel, the burner under operation at the lowermost stage of the burner is extinguished. This permits prevention of disturbance of a boiler occasioned at the time of change-over of a multi-fuel combustion. |
