A circuit block comprising a lead frame (1) having a plurality of lead terminals (8A, 8B, 8C, 8D, 8E); an integrated circuit (7) mounted on the lead frame (1); and a plurality of wires (9) each of which is electrically connected to the integrated circuit (7) and to a respective lead terminal (8A, 8B, 8C, 8D, 8E), all the wires (9) extending substantially in the same direction.
