PURPOSE:To increase the recording capacity of an external recorder and to shorten the reinspection time of specimens by permitting the storage of plural pieces of white blood cell images in an output memory device. CONSTITUTION:An image memory device 5, an image processor 6, a discrimination control device 7, the output memory device 9, a digital to analogue conversion circuit 10 and the external memory device 11, etc., are provided. The device 7 executes the discrimination processing of the white blood cell in accordance with the characteristic parameter taken therein. The device 7 starts the device 7, reads out the image data of the white blood cell from the device 7 and outputs the data to the device 9 in the case of the white blood cell classified to unknown cells and abnormal cells. The device 9 records the inputted data in the prescribed region by the instruction from the device 7. The data of the device 7 is added to the data of the cell number, discrimination data, etc., from the device 7, and is conducted to the circuit 10 where the data is added to a TV synchronizing signal and is outputted as a TV signal to the device 11. On the other hand, the device 7 starts the device 11 to record the images when the number of writing sheets to the device 9 attains the preliminarily instructed number. The recording capacity of the device 11 is thus increased and the reinspection time of the specimens is shortened. |
