<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the viscosity effect of lubricant due to the change in temperature so as to obtain a light steering feeling by setting a correction value corresponding to the change in temperature, in which a frictional component is taken into consideration in advance regardless of a steering torque component. CONSTITUTION:Signals S1-S5 detected by a steering torque detecting means 1, a temperature detecting means 2, and a steering wheel rotation detecting means 3 are inputted into the microcomputer unit 50 of a control device through an A/D converter 49. Then the unit 50 permits the A/D converter 49 to convert the signals S1-S5 based on a command for processing them in accordance with a program in a memory so as to output electric motor control signals T3 and T4 to an electric motor driving means 5. And a correction value which is set in advance taking a frictional component comprising a torque control signal in an electric motor control signal into consideration regardless of a steering torque component, is set in such a way as to be decreased as temperature is increased.</p> |
