PURPOSE:To make a new magnetic fluid suppliable in a speedy manner, by connecting a magnetic fluid supplier to a feed passage for the magnetic fluid via a valve. CONSTITUTION:A turning shaft 10 consists of a magnetic material, having an axial space, while a pair of pole rings 11 and 11A, and there are formed with radial magnetic fluid filler ports 12 and 12A. A magnetic fluid 14 is sealed in each ring gap 13. At the radial outer side between these pole rings 11 and 11A, there is provided with a magnetic assembled body 15, and an air chamber 17 for pressure P2 is formed in a manner conformable to the side of a liquid 16 of pressure P1 and the axial direction. And, when a pressure drop in this air chamber 17 is detected by a pressure detector 24, a magnetic fluid supplier 22 is operated, supplying a seal part with the magnetic fluid. Here, in the point midway in these filler ports 12 and 12A, there are provided with valves 26 and 26A serving as a nonreturn action.
