PURPOSE:To enable fixed speed running to be continually stably performed, by deciding a truck to be placed in an empty condition or in a loaded condition by the driver and turning on and off a vehicle weight change switch to determine a control constant of the fixed speed running. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle is in running, a pulse signal from a car speed sensor 14 is periodically sampled by a sampling switch 16 and input to a running car speed counter 21. While a car speed, when the driver turns on a set switch 17, is sampled and held to an assigned car speed counter 22. And a difference signal, generated when values of the both counters 21, 22 are compared in a comparator circuit 23, is input to one of the proportional plus integral control circuits 24, 25 through a switch 26, which is switched to a position of broken line in case of turning on a vehicle weight change switch 28 when the vehicle is emptied, performing a proportional plus integral control in each gain set by vehicle weights M1, M0 when the vehicle is loaded or emptied. And a fuel injection quantity is controlled in accordance with outputs of these circuits 24, 25.
