PURPOSE:To permit torque to be interruptedly switched automatically with no necessity for a signal from the outside, by providing a fluid pressure pump, driven by relatively rotating input and output shafts, and actuating a sliding clutch by the delivery fluid pressure of said pump to engage the input and output shafts. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a transmission gear applied to a transfer gear 3 of a four-wheel driven vehicle, a rear case 31 is fitted to the outside of a front case 30, connected by a spline with an input shaft 13 of said gear 3, and a cylinder 32 and an oil pump body 33 are provided interposing between the both cases 30, 31. While a sliding clutch 40 and an oil pump 60 are juxtaposed spacing the cylinder 32 between the second output shaft 18 and the cases 30, 31, and said oil pump 60 is constituted into an inscribed gear type containing a driving gear, engaged with the second output shaft 18 by a spline, and a driven gear rotatably fitted to the inside of the body 33. And the oil pump 60, which changes its delivery oil pressure by generating a difference between rotary speeds of the input and output shafts 13, 18, introduces the delivery oil pressure to the clutch 40 controlling its engagement.
