PURPOSE:To firmly fix both a cam and a cam shaft, by providing a plurality of notches in the opening edge of a center hole of the cam to form comb tooth- shaped protrusions when the both can and cam shaft are fixed by inserting the hollow cam shaft into the center hole of the cam to be pressed spreading the contour from the inside of the cam shaft. CONSTITUTION:A hollow cam shaft 2 is inserted into a cam 3 having a hole 4 in the center, and the both cam and cam shaft are fixed by supplying pressure oil to the center of the cam shaft 2 to spread its contour and perform bulge forming. Notches 10, which are spread from the cam center toward cam side edges 8, 9, are provided in both opening edge parts of the center hole 4, in this way, comb tooth-shaped protrusions 20 are formed between the notches 10. The cam shaft, when its contour is spread, bites in said notches 10, and the both cam and cam shaft are firmly fixed. |
