PURPOSE:To facilitate transferring and connecting works of a self-cooled gas- insulated transformer by composing a cylindrical winding by lap connecting outer conductor on an inner conductor and inner conductor on an outer conductor at the transferring positions of the inner and outer conductors. CONSTITUTION:The insulating member of insulating coating of a first conductor 2 formed by lap winding two conductors has high heat resistance, and the insulating member of a second conductor 3 has low heat resistance. The first and second conductors 2, 3 are composed by lap connecting the second inner conductor 3 on the first outer conductor 2 by brazing and the second outer conductor 3 on the first inner conductor 2 by brazing at transferring position 7 where the inner and outer conductors at the center of a cylindrical winding 10 are transferred. Thus, since radial position is automatically displaced, the conductors may merely be axially bent, and radial conductor bending work required for high accuracy can be eliminated. Further, since the conductors are not necessarily opposed at the connecting work, the bonding and connecting work is also facilitated.
