PURPOSE:To enable a side mirror to be folded within a car width, by connecting an intermediate part of a side mirror supporting arm bendably with a driving unit provided in a car body. CONSTITUTION:To place a side mirror 4 in storage, a linear work machine 20 is forwardly rotated. Then a mover 22 retracts, further a rod 25, connected with the mover 22, retracts. In this way, a main arm 10 in the point end of the rod 25 is displaced turning from the position of pivotally supporting pins 15 and folded in a car width. Accordingly, if the position of the pivotally supporting pins 15 is set so as to exist in a virtual rotary radius drawn by the outermost point end of a vehicle, the side mirror 4, even if it is in a large size, enables the vehicle to be freely driven. In this way, the side mirror 4, protruded sideward a car body by convenience of driving, can be easily stored within the car width by remote control from a driver's seat.
