PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of balanced-to-unbalanced transformer by forming a winding strand corresponding to part of one circumference of a winding made of metal plate blank, sequentially bonding a plurality of winding strands spirally to form a winding unit, and burying fixedly a pair of the winding units in a core made of magnetic powder and a binder. CONSTITUTION:Winding units 2, 3 are composed of two winding strands 21, 22, 31, 32 to become square winding unit by one turn. The strands 21, 22, 31, 32 are formed by punching them in the shape corresponding to substantially half of a circumference of a winding of a metal plate blank, and respectively have circulating units 21a, 22a, 31a, 32a circulating on the same plane, bonding units 21b, 22b, 31b, 32b bent to one ends of the units 21a, 22a, 31a, 32a, and lead terminals 21c, 22c, 31c, 32c extended from the other ends of the circulating units. The units 2, 3 are buried fixedly in a core part 4 made of magnetic powder and a binder in the state that they are held at a predetermined interval.
