PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operation to an anchor separating order even if there are a large number of transponders and to well obtain and read ocean data, by internally mounting CPU and a memory circuit etc. to perform the discrimination or judgement of submerged acoustic signal information and the practice of an order. CONSTITUTION:The acoustic signal from a control ship is received by an underwater acoustic transponder apparatus 10 and converted to a parallel signal by an input/output circuit 25 to obtain receiving information which is, turn, inputted to a micro-CPU23 and, when a discrimination number corresponds to said apparatus 10, CPU23 refers to the memory content mounted therein to discriminate and judge the receiving information and an order. At the time of a response signal transmitting order, a response signal is outputted from a transmitting circuit 15 and, at the time of issuing an anchor separating order, a separation circuit 26 and a separation apparatus 10a are operated to separate an anchor without erroneous operation. Further, at the time of a data transmitting order, the data obtained by a multiple sensor module 21 and stored in a memory circuit 24 is transmitted to the control ship through CPU23. By this method, ocean data is well obtained and read over a long period of time.
