PURPOSE:To ensure mechanical strength and to allow a motor to be thinner by forming a rotor by embedding a disc of magnetic material in the intermediate layer having permanent magnetism formed of magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 is composed of a rotor main body 3 and a shaft 2. The rotor main body 3 is formed into a disc with magnetic powder, and by magnetization this rotor main body 3 is turned into a permanent magnet so that N-type and S-type may alternately be arranged. A disc 4 of magnetic materials is embedded in the intermediate layer of the rotor main body 3. Stators 5 are arranged to positions on high and low of the rotor main body 3, while coils 6 are attached to positions on high and low of the stator 5. The rotor 1, stator 5 and coil 6 are enclosed in a housing 7.
