PURPOSE:To eliminate the overhead of rearrangement at a host-device by storing read information of plural sectors to the storage area of a memory device designated by the host device in the order of sectors designated by the host device. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor (MP)5 receives a head address representing the sector reading information and its sector and the memory device transferring the information from the host device. A flexible disk control circuit (FDC)6 recognizes a sector transferred and instructs the read of the corresponding sector to the FDC6. The MP5 calculates the transfer address to the memory device designated by the host device for the said sector and gives an instruction to a DMAC4 to transfer the said sector read information to said memory device starting from sail calculated address so that the read information is arranged in the order of sectors designated from the host-device. Thus, the read information is stored from the head address of the memory device designated by the host device in the order instructed by the host device.
