PURPOSE:To shorten the investigation time of an inter-connection relation, by a method wherein an inter-connection relation is successively investigated from a terminal point showing a large capacity value and investigation is conducted only on an inter-connection relation, wherein the length between terminal points is a predetermined value or less, when the max. points shows a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Terminal points 4 consisting of P1-P24 are provided to a pair board 1 and the capacity value of each terminal point 4 is measured by a capacity measuring device 13. Next, an inter-connection relation between the terminal point 4 showing the max. capacity value and that showing a capacity value approximate to said max. one is investigated by a resistance measuring device 12. This investigation is repeated until the max. capacity value of the terminal point among non-investigated terminal points comes to a predetermined capacity value. After the max. capacity value reaches the predetermined capacity value or less, the investigation is conducted only on the inter-connection relation wherein the length between the terminal points is a predetermined one or less and the measurement by the apparatus 12 is not performed with respect to the inter-connection relation wherein the mutual position of the terminal points exceeds the predetermined length. By this method, the investigation time of connection relation can be shortened.
