摘要 PURPOSE:To perform a labor saving in a test, speed it up and identify the sources of gels by automatically detecting the number and the quantity of the gels by discriminating the gels produced from a deteriorated polymer and the like. CONSTITUTION:Light L from the He-Cd laser 1 of a system is repeatedly scanned on gels in a polymer by a polygon laser scanner 2 and the dissolved polymer from which a sample cell 3 falls is irradiated. When the undissolved gels 4 are present in the polymer, the laser light is irradiated on the gels 4, a fluorescence is outputted only in the duration of an irradiation and the fluorescence is detected by a photomultiplier 6. After the fluorescence emitted from the gels 4 is converted to a current value, this is simplified (7) and converted to voltage value signals to be applied to a comparator 8. The voltage value signals are compared in the comparator 8 with the value to which a threshold voltage set to a personal computer 10 is D/A-converted (9). Thus, the undissolved gels 4 in the polymer are discriminated and the number and the quantity thereof are automatically detected to perform a labor saving in a test with a higher speed.
