PURPOSE:To perform calibration safely, rapidly and accurately, by latching designated DC voltage at the time of the irradiation of a standard radiation source and performing calibration using latch output after the stop of the irradiation of radioactive rays. CONSTITUTION:The radiation measuring device in a shield wall 14 is irradiated with standard radioactive rays and DC voltage applied to an indicator 7 at this time through a DC output converting part 4 is latched by the DC output holder 12 of a calibration device 10 outside the wall 14. Next, if the irradiation of the radioactive rays is stopped to change over the change-over switch 11 of the calibration device 10, the latch voltage of the holder 12 is applied to the indicator 7 and the calibration of the scale of the measuring device 1 is performed safely, rapidly and accurately without being exposed to radioactive rays.
